Custom Candle Made From Your Idea | Personalized Scent & Label | Custom Photo Candle | Funny, Gothic, Fantasy, Memorial, Create Candle Gift

Have an idea for a candle you wish existed?

Tell us the idea. We’ll help bring it to life.

Novel Candles creates one-of-a-kind custom candles designed around your concept — from the artwork and label to the fragrance, vessel and wax.

Send us a photo, illustration, logo or simply describe what you have in mind. Whether you envision something gothic and smoky, romantic and floral, funny, sentimental, Louisiana-inspired, fantasy-themed, minimalist or completely unexpected, we’ll create a candle that feels like it was made for the idea.

YOUR CUSTOM CANDLE CAN INCLUDE

• Personalized or fully custom label design
• Your photo, artwork, logo or supplied image
• Custom candle name and text
• Your choice of available vessel and size
• Custom wax colors
• Specialty wax effects when available
• Existing Novel Candles fragrances OR custom scent direction
• A digital label proof before printing

HAVE AN IDEA BUT DON’T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT?

That’s okay — that’s one of our favorite parts.

Send us your concept and tell us the overall feeling you’re going for.

For example:

“I want a dark dragon candle that smells smoky, woody and warm.”

From there, we can help develop the look and fragrance direction into a finished candle such as:

DRAGONFIRE
Smoked Cedar • Amber • Clove

HOW IT WORKS

1. Select your candle size/options and place your order.
2. Send us your artwork, photo, logo or inspiration through direct messaging.
3. Tell us your desired candle name, wording, scent direction and overall vibe.
4. We create your custom design.
5. You’ll receive a digital proof for approval before your label is printed.
6. Your candle is hand-poured and finished in New Orleans and shipped to you or it’s recipient.

Wick options include organic cotton, hemp and wood. We’ll recommend the best wick for your custom candle; specific wick requests are welcome.

CUSTOM SCENT DIRECTION

Already know exactly how you want your candle to smell? Tell us.

Not sure? Give us a few words — smoky forest, old library, Louisiana garden, clean hotel, dark vanilla, bonfire, masculine cologne, tropical vacation — and we’ll help guide you toward a fragrance profile.

IMPORTANT

Highly customized designs, specialty vessels, oversized candles, specialty wax effects and custom fragrance development may require an additional charge depending on the project. Please message us before ordering if you have an especially elaborate idea.

Customer-supplied artwork should be artwork you have permission to reproduce.

Have a weird, wonderful or wildly specific candle idea? Send it to us. We love a challenge. 👩🔬
